水素と酸素を化学反応させ、発生したエネルギーを電気として利用する究極のクリーンカー、燃料電池自動車。ウルトレッサ®は、世界初の市販用燃料電池自動車の水素燃料タンクとしても使われ始めました。この水素燃料タンクは、大気圧の350倍という超高圧で使われるため、耐久性、安全性が厳しく要求されますが、ウルトレッサ®はこれらを見事にクリアしています。
Fuel Cell Vehicles are ideal environment-friendly cars that are powered by electricity generated through the chemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen. ULTRESSA R has begun to be used as a hydrogen tank for the world’s first commercial fuel cell vehicle.
ULTRESSA® for this purpose is severely required durability and safety to cope with the ultra-high pressure, which is 350 times higher than atmospheric pressure.
ULTRESSA® fully meets the requirements for such tanks.
